The Ohaus PX85 is a single range semi-micro balance with an 82 gram capacity and 0.01 milligram readability. Its internal fully automatic calibration system (InCal) maintains accuracy without the need for an external weight. The removable glass draft shield and stainless steel weighing pan provide a precise measurement environment. Unlike the PX225D model it operates within a single measurement range and does not include a built in ionizer.

The Ohaus PX85 is a semi-micro weighing device designed for fields requiring precise measurement of very small quantities such as analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical research and material science. The die cast metal base, ABS plastic top housing and stainless steel weighing pan give the device a long lasting and durable structure. The 10 second stabilization time ensures reliable results in precise measurements. The integrated hook allowing weighing by suspension beneath the device enables measurement of large volume or suspended samples. User selectable environmental filters, auto-tare and automatic screen brightness settings help optimize the device for different laboratory conditions.
