Distance Sales Agreement

1. Parties

This Distance Sales Agreement is concluded between the seller whose details appear below and the buyer placing an order through the website, under the Law on the Protection of Consumers No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation.

Buyer: A natural or legal person who places an order through the website and shares contact / delivery details.

2. Subject of the agreement

The subject of this agreement is new (zero) scales and weighing devices, refurbished (pre-owned) products, software licences and accessories ordered via the Terazibul website cart, together with related delivery, invoicing and payment processes.

Prices shown on product pages are presented to the buyer together with the total amount shown in the cart and payment step at the time of order. Quotation-based sales conducted by phone, WhatsApp, e-mail or forms are also subject to a separate written quotation and approval process.

3. Formation of the contract

• The buyer adds products to the cart, enters delivery details, selects a payment method and completes the order.
• Receipt of the order in our system constitutes the buyer’s order offer.
• Bank transfer / EFT: The order becomes final and shipment is planned when the amount is credited to the seller’s account.
• Cash on delivery: The contract is formed upon order confirmation; payment is collected at delivery.
• Order confirmation and process updates are sent to the buyer by e-mail or system notification.

4. Product and price information

Essential product characteristics, unit price, quantity, VAT, any shipping fee and the total amount are shown in the order summary. The buyer sees and confirms the total before approving the order.

5. Payment

The following payment methods may be used for orders placed through our website:

• Bank transfer / EFT: Payment of the total amount to the bank account details provided after the order is completed. The order is processed and shipment is planned after payment is confirmed.
• Cash on delivery: Payment in cash or by credit / debit card upon delivery. Availability depends on the selected delivery address and carrier terms.

Online card payment (virtual POS) will be announced on the site when the infrastructure is ready. Until then, card details are not collected on our website; for cash-on-delivery card payments, the transaction is processed at delivery by the courier / delivery agent or an authorised POS terminal.

For bank transfer / EFT payments, the order number must be included in the payment description. The seller reserves the right not to ship until the transfer amount is credited.

6. Delivery

Delivery time is stated during the order process based on stock, technical preparation and shipping plan. The product is sent to the address provided by the buyer or to an agreed delivery point. If the box or product is damaged on delivery, a report must be drawn up.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal (14 days)

If the buyer is a consumer (a natural person not acting for commercial or professional purposes), they may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason and without paying a penalty.

Withdrawal may be made by e-mail to merhaba@terazibul.com, by written notice or by a clear statement. Within the withdrawal period the product must not have been used beyond the legal examination right and must be returned in a condition that does not prevent resale.

Return shipping under the right of withdrawal is borne by the seller. After the withdrawal notice is received and the product is returned complete, the seller refunds the amount within the statutory period.

8. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may not apply in cases provided in the regulation, including in particular:

• Products prepared in line with the consumer’s requests or personal needs
• Perishable goods or goods that may expire
• Goods whose packaging has been opened after delivery and that are not suitable for return for health / hygiene reasons
• Digital content / software where performance has begun with the consumer’s consent after being informed that the withdrawal right will be lost

The 14-day statutory withdrawal right does not apply to merchant / commercial purchases. Defective goods rules remain reserved.

9. Defective goods and warranty

If the product is defective, rights under Law No. 6502 and related legislation remain reserved. For warranty periods see the Warranty & Returns page.

10. Software sales

Software licences are subject to quotation and licence terms. Delivery of a licence key or start of installation with the buyer’s consent may constitute commencement of digital performance.

11. Dispute resolution

For consumer disputes, Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts are competent within the statutory monetary limits. For disputes between merchants, Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices are competent.

12. Entry into force

By confirming the order and accepting the relevant texts at checkout, the buyer is deemed to have read and accepted this agreement. The current text is effective from the date it is published on the website.
