The AND BM-5 is a micro balance developed for filter, powder and very small sample weighing with 5.2 gram capacity and 0.001 milligram, that is one microgram, readability. The built in fanless ionizer removes static charge from the sample and container. The motor driven internal calibration and the automatic calibration system that tracks temperature changes keep the device reliable. The anti static glass draft shield comes as standard and its sliding doors can be interlocked.

The AND BM-5 is the one microgram resolution micro model of the Ion BM series and offers 0.0012 milligram repeatability and ±0.010 milligram linearity.
The typical minimum sample weight is 2.0 milligrams based on USP chapter 41. The adjustable response characteristic keeps the measurement stable against air currents and vibration.
An automatic repeatability test can be performed using the internal weight.
Data is stored in the internal memory as 200 weighing records, 100 records with date and time and 50 calibration records, and GLP, GMP, GCP and ISO compliant output can be obtained.
The comparator with buzzer function makes the weighing process easier.
