The Axis Density Measurement Kit is a mechanical apparatus that makes the Archimedes principle based density determination method applicable on APN and ACN series analytical balances. The measurement process is performed in two stages, the sample is first weighed in air, then a second weighing is performed by immersing the sample in a liquid with the help of the kit. The difference between these two measurements is automatically processed by the balance's HYDRO function to calculate the density value of the sample. The kit can be used for density determination of both solid and liquid samples, allowing laboratories to perform this measurement without investing in a separate density determination device.
